The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has successfully wrapped up the second cluster of its Summer Placement drive for the PGP Class of 2027. The process, which concluded on October 31, 2025, saw significant participation from leading companies across various sectors.
Cluster 2 hosted companies from seven key sectors: Advertising and Media, Conglomerates, Consumer Goods, Consumer Services, Financial Platforms and Services, Pharmaceuticals and Health Care, and Retail B2B & E-commerce. The placement process adopted a hybrid model, allowing companies to engage with students both virtually and on campus, resulting in over 60 roles being offered to the candidates.
In the Conglomerates sector, Mahindra & Mahindra emerged as the top recruiter, followed closely by TATA Administrative Services and Aditya Birla Group. Other notable firms in this category included Abhinandan Ventures, CK Birla Group, JSW, and Vedanta Limited.
The Consumer Goods sector witnessed Procter & Gamble leading the hiring efforts, with ITC Limited also making significant contributions. The list of participating companies also featured well-known names such as AB InBev, Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, Dabur, Diageo India, Hindustan Unilever, Nestle, Purplle, United Breweries, Wipro Consumer Care, and Zydus Wellness.
FinIQ Consulting stood out as the leading recruiter in the Financial Platform and Services domain, while Jiostar took the lead in Advertising and Media. In the dynamic Retail B2B and E-commerce space, Amazon and Flipkart were among the prominent recruiters.
The Pharmaceuticals and Health Care sector saw robust engagement from companies like Glenmark, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Bharat Serums and Vaccines, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, and Optum.
Additionally, students secured international placement opportunities with Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. This year’s placement process also welcomed new recruiters to IIMA, including Dainik Bhaskar, Haleon, Jiostar, Jupiter Money, Medtronic India, and Philip Morris International.
The highly anticipated third cluster of IIMA’s Summer Placement process is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2025.
