The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension for the December 2025 Term-End Examinations (TEE) registration. Students now have until October 26, 2025, to submit their applications without any late fees for both ODL (Open and Distance Learning) and Online Programmes. The previous deadline was October 20, 2025.

For those who miss the extended deadline, a late fee of Rs. 1100 will apply for applications submitted between October 27 and October 31, 2025.
The examination fee is set at Rs. 200 per theory course. IGNOU’s December term-end examinations for ODL and Online Programmes are expected to commence around December 1, 2025, and will be conducted in both Pen & Paper and Computer-Based Test (CBT) modes.

To be eligible for the December 2025 Term-end Examinations, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Have paid the applicable course fees for the relevant year/semester.
- Have enrolled in and are pursuing the prescribed courses as per the Programme Guide.

- Submitted all required assignments by their respective due dates before appearing for the examination.
