Good news for aspiring Chartered Accountants! The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the schedule for mock test series for both the CA Final and Intermediate courses, aimed at candidates preparing for the January 2026 examinations. You can find the complete schedule on the ICAI’s official website, icai.org.
These valuable mock tests will be available in both physical and virtual formats. If you prefer the physical mode, you can head to your nearest ICAI branch. For those opting for virtual tests, the question papers will be uploaded on the BoS Knowledge Portal at icai.org 30 minutes before the scheduled test time. Specifically, CA Final papers will be uploaded by 1:30 PM, and CA Intermediate papers by 9:30 AM.
Candidates are expected to download and complete the papers within the designated time limits. The institute will upload the answer keys within 48 hours of the test’s commencement, allowing students to self-assess their performance effectively.

In addition to the mock tests, the official exam dates for the January 2026 cycle have also been released. The CA Final exams for Group 1 are scheduled for January 5, 7, and 9, 2025, while Group 2 exams will be held on January 11, 13, and 16, 2026. For the Intermediate course, Group 1 exams are set for January 6, 8, and 10, 2026, and Group 2 exams will take place on January 12, 15, and 17, 2026. The Foundation course exam is scheduled for January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026.
Mark your calendars! Registrations for the January 2026 CA exams will begin on November 3, 2025, with the deadline for submission being November 16, 2025. A late fee will apply for submissions made between November 17 and November 19, 2025.
