The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has announced its recruitment drive for 2025, inviting applications for 37 lateral positions and 42 Trainee Officer roles. Lateral Positions Available:
HUDCO is looking for candidates with proven expertise for various lateral roles, including:
- Deputy General Manager (E-5): Pay scale of Rs. 80,000–2,20,000
- Assistant General Manager (E-4): Pay scale of Rs. 70,000–2,00,000
- Senior Manager (E-3): Pay scale of Rs. 60,000–1,80,000
- Manager (E-2): Pay scale of Rs. 50,000–1,60,000
The vacancies for these lateral positions are distributed across several departments: 15 in Projects (Engineering), 16 in Finance, 3 in HR & Administration, 2 in IT, and 1 in Economics.
Trainee Officer (E-1) Vacancies:
Additionally, HUDCO is recruiting for 42 Trainee Officers (E-1) with a pay scale of Rs. 40,000–1,40,000 (IDA, w.e.f. 01.01.2017). The maximum age limit for this role is 28 years. The vacancies are spread across disciplines such as:
- Projects/Engineering: 15 posts
- Finance: 14 posts
- Law: 3 posts
- HR & Administration: 2 posts
- Information Technology: 2 posts
- Economics: 1 post
- Official Language: 1 post
The recruitment also includes four reserved posts for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Reservations for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates are applicable as per government norms.
Eligibility and Application Process:
Candidates applying must be Indian citizens and meet the age and educational eligibility criteria specified for each post. Generally, experience requirements for lateral posts range from 3 to 15 years, depending on the grade level. Educational qualifications include graduate and postgraduate degrees in relevant fields like engineering, management, finance, or law from recognized institutions.

Selection Procedure:
For lateral posts, the selection process involves shortlisting based on qualifications and experience, followed by a personal interview. Document verification will precede the interview.
For Trainee Officers, the selection includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering domain-specific knowledge and general aptitude, followed by a personal interview. The CBT will consist of 150 questions for 150 marks, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The final selection will be based on 80% weightage for the CBT and 20% for the interview.
Application Fee:
Candidates from UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,500 for lateral posts and ₹1,000 for Trainee Officer posts. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempt from paying the fee.
