Gopichand P. Hinduja, the influential chairman of the vast Hinduja Group, has passed away in London at the age of 85, according to close family sources.
Affectionately known as ‘GP’ within the business community, Mr. Hinduja had been battling an illness for several weeks and died at a London hospital.
A prominent figure from the second generation of the Hinduja family, Gopichand assumed the chairmanship after the passing of his elder brother, Srichand, in May 2023.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sunita, his sons Sanjay and Dheeraj, and his daughter, Rita.
