Halloween is here, and the stars are shining brighter (and spookier!) than ever before. This year’s celebrations are already heating up, with celebrities showcasing their creativity and dedication to the spooky season. From elaborate transformations to clever pop culture references, the competition for best costume is fierce!
Heidi Klum, the undisputed queen of Halloween, is once again set to dazzle with her annual New York party. She’s teased a particularly “ugly” and “scary” transformation this year, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
Beyond the usual Hollywood glamour, politicians are also embracing the festive spirit. President Trump is hosting a party at his Florida estate, adding a political twist to the holiday. However, not all costume choices have landed well; Julia Fox’s portrayal of a blood-soaked Jackie Kennedy has drawn criticism for its perceived insensitivity.
But it’s not all about controversy! Many stars have shared their fantastic creations on social media.
Demi Lovato brought back the iconic “Poot Lovato” meme from 2015, a playful nod to her internet alter-ego. Meanwhile, North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and her friends impressed with their spot-on BABYMETAL costumes.
Singer Jade channeled the classic character Greta from Gremlins, while Janelle Monáe gave a nod to the Cat in the Hat. Paris Hilton recreated Britney Spears’s “Oops!… I Did It Again” music video look, and Keke Palmer paid tribute to Snoop Dogg with her impressive impersonation.
Mariah Carey celebrated with a Japanese-inspired theme, complete with pink hair and a pastel blue dress, posting a festive message from Japan with her children. Rapper Megan Thee Stallion transformed into Choso from the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen.
Amelia Dimoldenberg showcased her knack for creative costumes with a devilish ensemble, even dressing as David Harbour’s character from Stranger Things to reference a Lily Allen song about their divorce.
Ed Sheeran embraced the horror genre as Pennywise the clown, while US Vice-President JD Vance sported a wig in a meme-inspired look.
As the night unfolds, we’re sure to see even more incredible and imaginative costumes lighting up social media and parties around the globe!
