Last year, in October, a frightening incident occurred at Bollywood actor Govinda’s home when he accidentally shot himself in the leg around 4:45 am. Tina Ahuja’s Emotional Recollection
“When the gunshot happened, I was the one who took him to the hospital,” Tina recounted in an interview. “He was heading to Kolkata for an event; it was an early morning flight. He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, and his entire pant became red.” She further elaborated, “That moment felt like a tear of victory for me because I had prayed so much to God. It felt incredibly good to see my father healthy, happy, and recovering. I practically slept in the ICU, just wanting him to get back to his normal self.”
According to news agency ANI, Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, explained that the actor was preparing to leave for Kolkata. While he was placing his licensed revolver back into its case, it accidentally slipped from his hand, firing a bullet that struck his leg.
Govinda, a beloved Bollywood star from the 90s, began his career in the 80s as an action hero before transitioning to comedy in the mid-90s.
