The original PowerWash Simulator was known for its surprising and delightful DLC collaborations. Players previously had the chance to meticulously clean Lara Croft’s iconic manor in a Tomb Raider crossover, scrub down locations from Final Fantasy 7’s Midgar, and even tackle the bubbly messes of SpongeBob SquarePants. The game also featured unique partnerships with beloved franchises like Wallace & Gromit, Warhammer 40,000, Shrek, and Back to the Future.

It’s important to note that these past DLC packs didn’t introduce new characters like Doc Brown or Cloud Strife, but rather allowed players to clean up instantly recognizable locations and props such as the legendary DeLorean time machine and the powerful Imperium war machines. FuturLab remains tight-lipped about their upcoming IP collaborations, stating that future content may evolve based on valuable community feedback and ongoing development.
PowerWash Simulator 2 will be available on Game Pass from day one for both PC and Xbox Series X|S players, and will also launch on PlayStation 5.
