The much-anticipated trailer for Huma Qureshi’s latest film, ‘Single Salma,’ has finally been released! Directed by Nachiket Samant, this romantic comedy-drama invites viewers into the whirlwind life of 33-year-old Salma Rizvi (played by Huma Qureshi). Salma, eager to embrace an arranged marriage with Sikandar (Shreyas Talpade), finds her plans delightfully disrupted by an unexpected romance in London with Meet (Sunny Singh).
What unfolds is a side-splitting blend of two distinct cities, two contrasting cultures, and two lively wedding parties, all heading towards a single, unforgettable wedding night. ‘Single Salma’ is a collaborative presentation by Star Studio18 and Elemen3, with production credits going to Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Saqib Saleem, Elemen3 Entertainment, Lalaland Entertainment, and Firuzi Khan.

The movie is produced by Shiladitya Bora of Platoon One Films, an Indian studio celebrated for award-winning titles like ‘Ghaath’ (Berlinale 2023) and ‘Picasso’ (Amazon Prime’s inaugural direct-to-digital Marathi film). ‘Bayaan’ is a co-production between Platoon One Films, Madhu Sharma (Summit Studios), Kunal Kumar, and Anuj Gupta, with Switzerland-based Sadik Keshwani (Guidant Films) as co-producer. Huma Qureshi also holds an executive producer credit on the film.
