Prepare for an epic journey through time in Hearthstone’s upcoming expansion, Across the Timeways! This new set plunges players into an urgent fight for Azeroth’s future, as the formidable Murozond, Lord of the Infinite, seeks to erase all known timelines. It’s up to Chromie, guardian of the Timeways, to rally legendary warriors from across history to thwart Murozond’s destructive plans.
Across the Timeways is packed with 145 brand-new cards and introduces two exciting time-bending keywords: “Fabled” and “Rewind.” Fabled cards boost your deck by adding two extra Legendary cards, while Rewind offers a second chance to snag that perfect random effect you desperately need.
We’re thrilled to unveil five exclusive new Priest cards that are set to arrive in a few weeks! This expansion showers the Priest class with powerful hand-buffing tools, opening up thrilling new strategies to summon massive, game-changing minions.
An embedded video provides a visual showcase of these exciting new cards.
Here’s a closer look at the Across the Timeways cards we’re revealing today:
- Minion: Eternus (6 Mana, Legendary, 6/2, Dragon) – Battlecry: Seize control of an enemy minion with Health equal to or less than Eternus’s current Health.
- Minion: Divine Augur (5 Mana, Epic, 5/5, Draenei) – Battlecry: For every minion in your hand, set its Attack and Health to whichever of its two stats is higher.
- Spell: Power Word: Barrier (2 Mana, Holy) – Grant a character Divine Shield, and give all minions in your hand +2 Health.
- Minion: Amber Priestess (2 Mana, Common, 1/4) – Taunt. Battlecry: Restore Health to a character equal to this minion’s current Health.
- Minion: Disciple of the Dove (3 Mana, Common, 2/2) – Battlecry: Draw a minion, then give all minions in your hand +2 Health.
Kick off your early game strong with cards like Disciple of the Dove! Not only does it provide a handy health buff to minions in your hand, but it also helps you cycle through your deck by drawing another minion. Pair it with Power Word: Barrier, another fantastic health-buffing spell that also grants Divine Shield to a chosen character, ensuring your key minions are well-protected from incoming threats.
Once your minions are sufficiently buffed, Amber Priestess becomes an incredible healer. She can restore health to any character on the field, potentially healing them to full if her own health has been significantly increased. This makes her a versatile and resilient addition to your board. You can achieve those massive health boosts effectively with Divine Augur, which functions like an amped-up version of Inner Fire, turning your hand into a collection of formidable threats.
And finally, we have Eternus, a legendary dragon whose initial stats might seem modest. However, with a few well-placed hand buffs, Eternus transforms into a truly terrifying threat. Its Battlecry allows you to snatch your opponent’s strongest minions, leading to spectacular swing turns that can completely turn the tide of a match!
That concludes our exclusive card reveals for Hearthstone’s Across the Timeways expansion! We can’t wait to see the creative decks you’ll build with these powerful new Priest additions.
