For quite some time, dedicated fans of the Senran Kagura series have been yearning for a fresh, main installment. While we’ve had delightful spin-offs like Senran Kagura Run, a completely new adventure has been eagerly anticipated. Well, the wait is officially nearing its end, as Marvelous and the talented team at Honey∞Parade Games have just dropped exciting news: a brand-new mobile game, currently known as ‘Project N,’ is in active development!
While specific details are still emerging, what we do know is incredibly promising. ‘Project N’ is slated for release on iOS and Android devices in Japan sometime in 2026. This upcoming title promises to bring a fresh perspective, introducing five entirely new shinobi girls who will take center stage. Renowned artist Nan Yaegashi is handling the character designs, ensuring the distinctive and beloved art style remains vibrant.
Adding to the excitement, the story of ‘Project N’ will unfold three years after the popular Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link, offering a continuation that long-time players will appreciate. Marvelous has assured us that more information, including the game’s official title and a precise release date, will be revealed in due course. Until then, the anticipation for what these new shinobi will bring is palpable!
For context, before the recent Senran Kagura Run, the last major appearance of the series’ beloved characters was in 2021’s crossover title, Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars, where they ventured into the world of Hyperdimension Neptunia. Prior to that, the aforementioned Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link first graced mobile screens back in 2017, proving the series’ enduring popularity on handheld platforms.
