Satya shared a touching photo of his mother, Deepa, with a heartfelt caption: “I miss you Mumma.” The post was flooded with condolences and tributes from friends and well-wishers of the late costume designer. Many shared how she was an inspiration, highlighting her strength, courage, and passion in building her saree brand, Queen of Hearts, which achieved significant popularity within the Marathi film industry.

Mahesh Manjrekar and Deepa Mehta were married in 1987, having known each other since their college days. Together, they have two children: daughter Ashwami Manjrekar and son Satya Manjrekar. However, their marriage concluded in 1995, after which their children remained with Mahesh.
Following his separation from Deepa, Mahesh Manjrekar married actress Medha Manjrekar. They have a daughter, Saiee Manjrekar, who made her Bollywood acting debut alongside Salman Khan in ‘Dabangg 3’ and has since appeared in films like ‘Major’ and ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay’.
