The much-anticipated film “120 Bahadur,” inspired by the historic Battle of Rezang La, is set to captivate audiences with its tale of courage and sacrifice. Following the release of a compelling motion poster, the filmmakers have now presented Teaser 2, a special tribute coinciding with Lata Mangeshkar’s birth anniversary. The teaser features the timeless melody of ‘Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon,’ a song that poignantly commemorates the bravery and sacrifice of soldiers from the 1962 war—the very conflict on which “120 Bahadur” is based.
Shot amidst the stunning landscapes of Ladakh, “120 Bahadur” delves into the true events of the 1962 India-China war. At the core of the narrative is Farhan Akhtar’s portrayal of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, alongside his fellow soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment. The second teaser powerfully conveys their resilience, camaraderie, and unwavering spirit, offering a cinematic homage to the unsung heroes of Rezang La.
The teaser vividly depicts the soldiers’ determination and valor as they defended their positions against overwhelming enemy forces. “You’ve seen your ancestors fight, through droughts and floods. Fighting for your land runs in your vein. This time it’s not just about the land, it’s about our motherland!” echoes a powerful line, underscoring the film’s patriotic theme.
Farhan Akhtar shared the teaser with a caption that read, “Parakram. Deshbhakti. Balidan. Commemorating the valour and sacrifice of the heroes of Rezang La, 1962.”
Directed by Razneesh “Razy” Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, in collaboration with Amit Chandrra of Trigger Happy Studios, “120 Bahadur” was filmed across authentic locations in Ladakh, Rajasthan, and Mumbai. The grand scale of the production aims to authentically capture the essence of war.
“120 Bahadur” is slated for release in theatres on November 21, 2025.
