But that’s not all – a completely new spin-off game, titled Dark Ties, focusing on Yakuza 3‘s enigmatic character, Yoshitaka Mine, will launch alongside it. Mark your calendars for February 12, 2026, when both titles are set to arrive!

This standalone adventure dives deep into the dramatic journey of Yoshitaka Mine. Once a successful startup leader, Mine chose to enter the dark world of the yakuza after losing everything. Left with a profound void in his heart, he now seeks true bonds, driving him forward in a compelling and intense narrative. Players can expect thrilling boxing-based combat and a variety of engaging side missions and minigames unique to Mine’s story. The RGG Direct presentation also brought more exciting news for Yakuza enthusiasts who can’t wait for 2026. The original Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are making their way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on December 8. Furthermore, the highly acclaimed Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut will also launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on the very same day.
