The award-winning music icon, Enrique Iglesias, has made a triumphant return to India after a 13-year break to perform his highly awaited concerts in Mumbai. Spotted at Kalina Airport on Tuesday, the Spanish artist generously interacted with the paparazzi, posing for photos and offering a warm ‘namaste’ greeting. This visit comes ahead of his two-day performance engagement in the city.
Enrique arrived in Mumbai looking effortlessly stylish in a casual grey t-shirt, matching joggers, a grey cap, and sunglasses. His arrival has generated significant buzz, with fans eagerly anticipating his first performances in India since 2004. Organizers have added a second show due to overwhelming demand, with tickets for the initial concert reportedly selling out rapidly.
Expressing his excitement about returning to India, Enrique shared, “I’ve missed performing in India; the fans there are some of the most loyal and passionate in the world. Since my first show back in 2004, the love has always been unreal. I can’t wait to get back to Mumbai and bring them this new show.”
Adding to the excitement, sources indicate that Enrique plans to extend his trip to visit Agra and witness the iconic Taj Mahal, an experience he missed on his previous visit. His eagerness to explore the culture of the cities he visits has always been evident in his past tours.
