Dying Light The Beast has truly hit its stride, combining the intense survival action and beloved protagonist, Kyle Crane, from the first game with the best elements of Dying Light 2, all while introducing fresh innovations. The result is arguably one of the standout zombie games in recent years. Its exceptional parkour system makes merely dodging the undead feel almost as exhilarating as brutally taking them down… almost. Techland recently shared a wealth of player activity statistics since the game’s launch, and with a staggering 2.2 billion zombies eliminated, all we can do is commend the dedicated players.
Considering the vast arsenal of weapons designed for bashing, butchering, and blasting the undead, it’s hardly surprising that players have been so incredibly bloodthirsty. Techland’s new infographic confirms that an incredible 2,289,451,369 zombies have been slayed in Dying Light The Beast. The United States, China, and Germany lead the charge in this relentless Undead Olympics kill count.
Behind the wheel, players have collectively flattened 334 million zombies and traversed 19.6 million kilometers across Castor Woods, proving that the inclusion of vehicles was a wildly popular decision. The community also boasts 59.5 million headshots, demonstrating that precision remains key even when a plethora of melee weapons and Kyle’s powerful Beast Mode are available.

My personal favorite statistic—partly for its sheer absurdity and partly for the endless joy it brings—is that players have drop-kicked 176 million zombies. Call me childish, but watching a zombie get two-footed and sent ragdolling high into the air never gets old. Furthermore, 112 million brutal finisher moves have been executed.
While more detailed weapon statistics would have been fascinating (I’m always curious about player preferences), Techland did reveal that the Reinforced Camp Axe stands out as the most popular weapon in the game.
This new infographic vividly illustrates not only the chaotic fun of Dying Light The Beast but also the expansive nature of the series’ survival sandbox. With analysts projecting over 1.5 million copies of the game sold, these high player activity figures come as no surprise.
