Renowned Punjabi singer and actor, Diljit Dosanjh, recently declared his unwavering commitment to spreading a message of love, unaffected by any criticism or external opinions. This statement comes amidst recent events surrounding his concerts.
During his recent performance in Brisbane, the 41-year-old star shared a heartfelt video from the stage, emphasizing the importance of consistently promoting love and unity.
In his powerful address, Dosanjh passionately stated, “Always keep talking about love. For me, this earth is one. My Guru teaches, ‘Ik Onkar’ (God is One), signifying that this entire world is interconnected. I was born from this earth, I am its essence, and one day I shall return to its soil.”
He continued, conveying a profound sense of universal acceptance: “Therefore, I extend only love to everyone, regardless of whether they feel jealousy or engage in trolling. My commitment remains steadfast: I will always spread a message of love. This has always been my path, and I am indifferent to how others perceive it.” These words resonated as footage from his concert and rehearsals illuminated the screen.
Dosanjh also mused on the concept of manifestation, observing, “Many people claim, ‘We manifest that God has given us this, and they receive it.’ I find myself surprised. Why such an intense focus on manifesting? A person should simply reflect in their heart on what they need to do. Just think. God will bring it to fruition. You should hold it close in your heart.”
This heartfelt message from Dosanjh was shared a day after the organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), established by U.S.-based lawyer Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, reportedly issued a threat against the singer in anticipation of his upcoming Melbourne concert on November 1.
The group had previously criticized Dosanjh for his appearance on Amitabh Bachchan’s popular quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, specifically for greeting the esteemed cinema veteran by respectfully touching his feet.
The global sensation is currently captivating audiences across various Australian cities as part of his highly anticipated Aura tour. Following his performance at Melbourne’s AAMI Park, fans can look forward to seeing him live in Adelaide on November 5 and Perth on November 9.
