Dhanashree Verma, a participant in the reality television show Rise and Fall, found herself in an emotional state after actor and co-contestant Aahana Kumra reportedly made comments questioning Verma’s character. These remarks, which allegedly suggested Verma tends to “cling to men,” surfaced during a challenge where contestants had to pitch themselves to be saved from elimination.
The situation escalated when content creator Akriti Negi brought up Kumra’s past comments about Verma. Visibly upset, Verma shared her disappointment, recounting how she had felt hurt by Kumra’s previous remarks. Despite having supported Kumra when she faced difficulties, Verma expressed that she no longer felt she could trust Kumra, especially after hearing about comments made in the show’s basement segment. She emphasized that she had kept her personal life private during her time on the show and felt the environment was becoming toxic and unsafe.
The reality show Rise and Fall has brought Verma’s personal life, including her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, into the spotlight. The couple met during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 and married later that year, but their public separation has been a subject of media attention.
