A shocking and tragic mass shooting has shaken a peaceful South Carolina island, leaving four people dead and at least twenty others injured. Authorities confirm the incident occurred at a bustling bar, turning an ordinary night into a scene of chaos and sorrow.
The horrific event unfolded in the early hours of Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island. Sheriff’s deputies, responding to urgent calls, arrived to find a large crowd and numerous individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office reported that “multiple victims and witnesses desperately fled to nearby businesses and properties, seeking refuge from the gunfire.”
