Get ready for “Cocktail 2”! Stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna are slated to begin the Delhi leg of their shooting schedule in the coming days. While reports suggested a month-long shoot, HT City has exclusively learned that the team will be filming for a focused period, capturing crucial scenes in various South Delhi locations, including Chhatarpur and Gurugram.
Following their wrap-up in Europe, the cast will head to the capital for essential sequences. A source revealed, “They will be shooting in Delhi from November 11 to November 20.” The primary focus will be on outdoor shoots at locations like Chhatarpur and Gurugram, along with other spots in South Delhi.
Recognizing Delhi’s current air quality challenges, with AQI levels exceeding 300, the “Cocktail 2” production team is implementing stringent safety measures to ensure a smooth and productive filming experience. These measures include installing air purifiers in vanity vans and on sets, ensuring cast and crew wear masks, and utilizing water sprinklers to create a safer environment. Director Homi Adajania has also hinted at the upcoming shoot, sharing a travel-related post on social media.
This film serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit “Cocktail.” While Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have previously shared the screen in “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” (2024), this marks the first time Rashmika Mandanna will be seen alongside both actors.
