Canara Bank has initiated its recruitment drive for Graduate Apprentices, inviting applications starting from Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online via the official Canara Bank website, canarabank.bank.in. The application window closes on October 12, 2025.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 3,500 training positions. Prospective apprentices must meet specific eligibility criteria:
Age Limit: Applicants should be between 20 and 28 years old as of September 1, 2025. Age relaxations are available for reserved categories: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
Educational Qualification: A Graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification is required. Importantly, candidates must have completed their graduation not earlier than January 1, 2022, and not later than September 1, 2025.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates whose 10th or 12th standard mark sheets indicate they have studied the specified local language will be exempt from the local language test. For others, this test will be part of the selection process during document verification. Failure to qualify will result in disqualification.
Medical Fitness: Final engagement is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit by the bank.
Application Fee: An application fee of ₹500 is applicable to all candidates except for those belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories.
