Activision has announced an extension to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 multiplayer beta, pushing its conclusion to October 9. This means the beta will now wrap up directly before the highly anticipated launch of EA’s Battlefield 6, set for October 10 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET.
The Black Ops 7 beta will officially end on Thursday, October 9, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET.
To celebrate these final days of the beta, Activision has introduced a new map called Toshin, marking it as the sixth playable environment in the test. Additionally, players can enjoy boosted double XP and weapon XP for the remainder of the beta, and the level cap has been raised to 30.
A recent and popular addition to the Black Ops 7 beta are the “open” playlists. These playlists offer a classic matchmaking experience with minimal skill-based matchmaking (SBMM), a change that has been met with enthusiastic approval from fans who have long requested a reduction in SBMM intensity.
After an initial early-access phase, the Black Ops 7 beta is now completely free and accessible to all players across every platform until its new closing date of October 9.
