Eligibility Criteria for BSF Head Constable Roles:
For Head Constable (Radio Operator) – HC(RO):
Candidates must have completed their Intermediate or 12th standard (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 60% aggregate marks in these subjects. Alternatively, candidates with Matriculation (or equivalent) from a recognized board and a two-year Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in relevant fields like Radio and Television, Electronics Engineering, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Data Preparation and Computer Software, General Electronics Engineering, or Data Entry Operator are also eligible.
For Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) – HC(RM):
Similar to the RO role, applicants need to have passed Intermediate or 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, achieving at least 60% aggregate marks. The alternative eligibility includes Matriculation from a recognized board coupled with a two-year ITI certificate in relevant trades such as Radio and Television, General Electronics, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Data Preparation and Computer Software, Electrician, Fitter, Information Technology and Electronics System Maintenance, Communication Equipment Maintenance, Computer Hardware, Network Technician, Mechatronics, or Data Entry Operator.
