Nick Booker (@indogenius), known for his travel content, posted a video showcasing Delhi Airport’s Terminal 1. He even drew parallels with a British High Street, noting how the presence of familiar shops and pubs contributed to a welcoming atmosphere for British travelers.

The video, shared on Instagram with the caption, “This is what an Indian Airport looks like in 2025,” has garnered significant attention.

Delhi Airport impresses British creator:

In the video, Nick explored the airport, highlighting various amenities including shops, pubs, and artwork. He specifically pointed out an Irish pub and a Budweiser bar, humorously noting their appeal to British travelers.

He also showcased popular brands like Accessorize and Hamley’s, the latter, though now Indian-owned, having originated as London’s oldest toy shop. He even spotted The Body Shop, remarking, “Anita Roddick would be so proud to see the Body Shop in Delhi Terminal 1.”

In a light-hearted moment, Nick shared an anecdote about leaving his phone at the airport, only to find it still there ten minutes later, adding, “Very impressive. So again proof that we’re in India.”
