The commission has significantly increased the number of vacancies, adding 10,976 posts to bring the total to 23,175 intermediate level positions across various departments in Bihar.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must have successfully completed their Intermediate (Class 12) or an equivalent examination from a board or institution recognized by the Indian Government. Additionally, possessing the required technical or preferred qualifications for the specific posts being applied for is necessary.
Age Limit Details:
The minimum age requirement is 18 years as of August 1, 2025. The upper age limits for different categories are as follows:
- Unreserved Male: 37 years
- Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class: 40 years
- Unreserved Female: 40 years
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): 42 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): A relaxation of 10 years will be applied to the maximum age limit.
Required Documents for Application:
Candidates must be prepared to submit the following documents during the online application process:
- Class 10 (Matriculation) mark sheet and original certificate.
- Class 12 (Intermediate) mark sheet and original certificate.
- Mark sheets and original certificates for any typing or computer knowledge qualifications.
- Permanent Residential Certificate.
- Caste Certificate.
- Disability Certificate (if applicable).
- Certificate supporting any upper age limit relaxation claimed.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer, if applicable.
Selection Process:
The selection process will begin with a preliminary examination, which will be objective in nature. This exam will consist of 150 questions, with each question carrying 4 marks. A penalty of 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The examination duration is 2 hours and 15 minutes, and the preliminary test will be conducted in both Hindi and English. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam will proceed to the Mains examination.
