- Prohibition Constable: 1,603 posts
- Jail Warder: 2,417 posts
- Mobile Squad Constable: 108 posts
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring for these positions must meet the specified educational qualifications:
- Prohibition Constable/Mobile Squad Constable: Applicants should have successfully completed Intermediate (10+2) education or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the State Government. This includes certificates like Maulvi from Bihar Madrasa Board or Shastri/Acharya from a Sanskrit Board.
- Jail Warder: Candidates must have completed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
The selection process will involve a written examination, a physical efficiency test, and thorough document verification.
The written examination will consist of 100 questions, each carrying one mark, for a total of 100 marks. The exam will be conducted using the OMR sheet system. Candidates securing less than 30% marks in the written examination will be disqualified from proceeding to the Physical Efficiency Test.
