Get ready, Vault Dwellers! Fallout 4 is receiving a special Anniversary Edition next month to celebrate its ten-year milestone. This ultimate bundle, featuring six add-ons and a treasure trove of Creation Club content, will also make its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, Bethesda revealed during their recent Fallout Day livestream. PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players can look forward to the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition launching on November 10, exactly ten years after the game first captivated audiences.
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition: What’s Included?
The highly anticipated Anniversary Edition will encompass the base game alongside six major expansions, including fan favorites like Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and the various Workshop expansions. Bethesda has also confirmed that players will receive over 150 Creation Club items with this package. To further excite fans, a new teaser trailer for Fallout 4’s upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 release was also unveiled.
“The definitive edition of Fallout 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. It’s been ten years since players first stepped out of Vault 111 and into the post-nuclear world. To mark the occasion, Bethesda Game Studios is thrilled to announce Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition. This is the ultimate celebration of a beloved classic, bringing together the complete Fallout 4 experience on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026,” Bethesda stated, emphasizing the significance of this release.
This special edition will also introduce previously unreleased Creation Club content. Players can anticipate new weapons, diverse Dogmeat breeds, various gameplay enhancements, and expanded questlines, according to Bethesda.
A brand-new in-game Creations menu will be a key feature of the Anniversary Edition, allowing players to easily discover and download new content directly within Fallout 4.
This announcement follows more than a year after Fallout 4 received a substantial next-gen update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles. That update delivered significant graphical improvements, higher frame rates, and numerous other fixes, enhancing the experience for current-gen console users.
More from Fallout Day: Burning Springs Update and Sales
The Fallout Day broadcast also brought exciting news for Fallout 76 fans, with Bethesda announcing the release date for the Burning Springs update. This expansion, which promises to be one of the game’s most expansive yet with a new map region and storyline, will be available for free on December 2, 2025.
With the Burning Springs update, Fallout 76 players will have the opportunity to explore a post-apocalyptic Ohio and undertake all-new Bounty Hunting missions, guided by The Ghoul, a beloved character from Amazon Prime Video’s hit Fallout television series.
In addition to game updates, Bethesda launched a special Fallout Day sale, offering up to 75 percent off titles across the entire Fallout franchise on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox digital storefronts.
The studio also introduced the Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle, which includes the game’s Ultimate Edition along with exclusive physical collectible items.
Despite these exciting announcements, Bethesda refrained from revealing any new Fallout games during the broadcast. However, the studio is widely believed to be working on additional Fallout projects. Last year, Bethesda director Todd Howard hinted at two unannounced Fallout titles. While these projects remain officially unconfirmed, the studio is actively developing The Elder Scrolls 6 and new content for its recent hit, Starfield.
