Season 1 of Battlefield 6 is here, bringing a burst of new action with three fresh multiplayer maps! Two of these are massive, brand-new battlegrounds, plus there’s a cool seasonal twist on an existing favorite. And to help you dominate these new areas, expect some exciting new vehicles – including a rather unexpected golf cart! This guide will give you the full scoop on all the new maps and vehicles making their debut in Battlefield 6 Season 1.
Keep in mind that all this exciting new content won’t drop at once. The developers are rolling out Season 1 in three distinct phases. It all kicks off with the ‘Rogue Ops’ update, which is already live across all platforms. Get ready for ‘California Resistance’ on November 18, followed by the ‘Winter Offensive’ on December 9.
You can get a sneak peek at some intense gameplay from the new maps, Blackwell Fields and Eastwood, in a 10-minute video.
Below, we’ll take a closer look at each of the three new maps. (And if you’re curious about new weapons, we’ve got a separate guide covering all the new BF6 Season 1 weapons and attachments!)

Season 1 kicks off with the ‘Rogue Ops’ update, unveiling the massive new Blackwell Fields map. This sprawling oil field in California is a dream for snipers and long-range combat enthusiasts, offering vast open spaces. Various structures like oil wells and construction equipment provide strategic cover.
Blackwell Fields also introduces a new vehicle: the APC Traverser Mark 2. This armored land vehicle accommodates four players: a driver, a roof gunner, and two side gunners in the backseats, perfect for coordinated assaults.
California Resistance – Eastwood

In the second phase, ‘California Resistance’ arriving in November, brings the battle to the sunny suburbs of California with the Eastwood map. Prepare for intense skirmishes in and around suburban homes, through backyards, and even across a golf course. While houses offer tight close-quarters combat opportunities, the golf course opens up for exciting long-range engagements.
And for a truly unique addition, Eastwood features the golf cart! Yes, you heard that right. Come November, you can zip around the map in golf carts, promising some hilarious and unpredictable moments on the battlefield.
Winter Offensive – Ice Lock Empire State

Currently, no new vehicle has been announced specifically for the Winter Offensive update.
