Battlefield 6 Season 1 Release Date
Mark your calendars: Battlefield 6 Season 1 is set to launch on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. While EA hasn’t yet specified the exact regional launch times, we’ll be sure to update you as soon as that information becomes available.
This season won’t drop all at once; instead, it’s divided into three distinct acts, each with its own theme and content rollout. ‘Rogue Ops’ kicks things off, followed by ‘California Resistance’ on Tuesday, November 18, and finally, ‘Winter Offensive’ on Tuesday, December 9. This staggered release means a consistent flow of new content every few weeks!

New Multiplayer Maps

New Weapons
Beyond the new maps, Season 1 will introduce several new weapons. Also joining the arsenal is the SOR-300C carbine, a weapon that sacrifices fire rate for raw damage, making it perfect for players with precise aim.

New Multiplayer Modes
Season 1 also delivers two brand-new game modes: Strikepoint and Sabotage. Strikepoint is a tense, small-scale 4v4, round-based mode with no respawns, challenging two teams to fight for control over a single objective. Sabotage, on the other hand, is an 8v8 mode where an attacking team aims to destroy as many objectives as possible within a time limit, while the defending team tries to stop them. Teams then switch roles to see who can achieve a higher score.
Curiously, Battlefield 6’s anticipated battle royale mode wasn’t mentioned in the Season 1 roadmap.
