Prepare for an exciting autumn at the Japanese box office as two highly anticipated anime films, *Girls Band Cry: Seishun Kyosokyoku* and *ZOMBIE LAND SAGA Yumeginga Paradise*, are set to premiere. The first of two compilation films for *Girls Band Cry*, titled “Seishun Kyosokyoku” (“Rhapsody of Youth”), will hit theaters on October 3. Shortly after, the brand-new feature film from the *ZOMBIE LAND SAGA* series, “Yumeginga Paradise” (“Dream Galaxy Paradise”), will open on October 24.
To celebrate their concurrent releases this October, these two major anime productions have teamed up for a special collaboration, unveiling an exclusive visual and two captivating videos. A unique connection between the two series lies in their protagonists, both hailing from Japan’s Kyushu region. This regional link is highlighted in the collaboration videos, where a playful voice swap occurs between the main characters.
In the first special video, which re-enacts the opening scene of *ZOMBIE LAND SAGA*’s first episode, Nina Iseri – the lead from *Girls Band Cry* and a native of Kumamoto City – lends her voice to *ZOMBIE LAND SAGA*’s protagonist, Sakura Minamoto, using an authentic Kumamoto dialect. Conversely, the second video features the iconic opening footage from *Girls Band Cry*’s first episode. Here, Sakura Minamoto from *ZOMBIE LAND SAGA* (believed to be from Karatsu City or the surrounding Saga Prefecture) takes on the role of Nina Iseri, speaking in the distinct Karatsu dialect. This unique crossover promises a delightful treat for fans of both series.
