Despite his personal oversight, the film clearly made a significant impact within his household. Bachchan shared that his daughter, Shweta Bachchan, watched the period drama and was so deeply moved by it that she experienced sleepless nights for several days afterward.

The conversation took a personal turn as Shetty shared insights into his childhood and his journey in the film industry.
During the show, Amitabh Bachchan shared an anecdote about his daughter’s strong reaction to ‘Kantara’. Rishab Shetty had mentioned Amitabh Bachchan’s tradition of writing letters to actors appreciating their performances. In response, Bachchan admitted, “Firstly, I must apologise for not having seen your films yet… you know how our schedules are. But my daughter Shweta went to see Kantara, and she couldn’t sleep for a few days. She was blown away by your performance, especially the last scene. She kept asking how you got into that zone.”
Shetty also recounted a heartwarming story about meeting his wife, Pragathi. He shared how, in the early days of his career, when he was not yet recognized, he approached her by sending his IMDb rating on social media. This led to their conversation, and within a year, they were married. He expressed that his wife has been his biggest support throughout his journey.
