Comedian Kapil Sharma has recently been in the spotlight due to firing incidents outside his cafe in Canada. Actor Akshay Kumar humorously addressed this, suggesting Sharma’s high earnings might be the reason for the commotion, stating, “itni aamdani hai ke wahan goliyan chali (earning is so much money that shots were fired there).”
During the finale episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, where Akshay Kumar was a guest, he engaged in a lighthearted conversation with Sharma. After Sharma quipped about Kumar’s extensive filmography, asking if he was more talented or simply had more needs, Kumar turned the tables. He jested about Sharma’s successful television career across different networks and his recent ventures, including opening a restaurant in Canada. Kumar’s playful jab implied that the cafe was so successful that it attracted such dramatic events, much to the amusement of the audience.
The cafe, which opened in Canada on July 4, has unfortunately been the site of two shooting incidents. The most recent occurred on August 7 in the Newton neighborhood, following a similar event on July 10. While no injuries were reported in either incident, these repeated attacks have understandably raised security concerns. Sharma, known for his popular show, opened the cafe as part of his international business expansion. Following these events, Mumbai Police have reportedly provided security to Sharma.
