What Makes Harry Potter Monopoly Special?
This reimagined classic board game brings characters, iconic locations, and beautiful artwork directly from the beloved Harry Potter books and films. Designed for 2-6 players, it’s recommended for aspiring wizards aged 8 and up. The game includes six delightful metal player tokens: the Hogwarts Express, Hagrid’s Motorbike, The Knight Bus, a Hippogriff, a Thestral, and, of course, the Firebolt.
While retaining the core elements of traditional Monopoly, this edition introduces exciting Wizarding World twists. Instead of standard currency, players compete for House Points for their chosen Hogwarts House: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff.
As you navigate the board, you can acquire familiar properties like locations within Hogwarts Castle, Hogsmeade Village, Diagon Alley, and even notorious spots like Malfoy Manor and the Dursley’s home on Privet Drive. Add House Crests to your properties to significantly increase rent. Even the railroads are transformed into Hogwarts House Common Rooms, adding to the immersive experience. And for those unlucky enough to land in jail, don’t worry – it’s still just jail, not Azkaban!
Replacing the classic Chance and Community Chest cards are beautifully designed Owl Post cards, each looking like a letter sent from Hogwarts by owl. These cards are housed on a custom stand featuring a charming Hedwig figurine.
