Fans eager for the magical world of Night Raven College can now get a spectacular preview with the release of the main trailer for Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation. This upcoming anime series brings the popular mobile game, known for reimagining iconic Disney villains as charming bishonen characters, to life on screen.
The newly released trailer features the distinctive voice of Koichi Yamadera, renowned for his extensive work in Japanese Disney dubs, including the memorable Genie and Stitch. Adding to the series’ allure, the ending theme, titled “Obedience,” will be performed by the talented students of Heartslabyul Dorm (Heartslabyul Ryosei).
The first season, officially subtitled Chapter of Heartslabyul, is set to debut on October 29, 2025, with eight exciting episodes available for streaming. Guiding this animated journey are Takahiro Natori, serving as chief director and handling series composition, and Shin Katagai as director, leading the production at studios Yumeta Company and Graphinica. Yoichi Kato takes on the role of main writer, while Haruka Nakano and Akane Sato adapt Yana Toboso’s original character designs for the animation.
For those unfamiliar with the game’s premise, imagine being mysteriously summoned by a magic mirror to a world entirely different from your own: Twisted Wonderland. You find yourself at Night Raven College, a prestigious academy of arcana. With no other recourse, you accept the masked headmage’s hospitality, all while seeking a way back home. This institution is brimming with students who are as gifted as they are eccentric, often clashing in a perpetual state of bickering and rivalry. The central questions remain: Can you forge alliances with these complex characters, ultimately return to your own world, and uncover the hidden secrets within the villainous hearts of Night Raven College’s students?
