Ukraine has endured a devastating aerial bombardment from Russia, with reports indicating that nearly 600 drones and several dozen missiles targeted seven regions across the country over more than 12 hours. The intense assault has resulted in at least four fatalities in Kyiv, including a 12-year-old girl, with dozens more injured.
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine described the attacks as “vile” and vowed that Ukraine would retaliate. He emphasized that Russia’s continued aggression, aimed at “fighting and killing,” demands a robust and unified response from the international community, calling for “the toughest pressure from the world.”
