Pop icon and actress Selena Gomez has officially married music producer Benny Blanco. The heartwarming ceremony took place in California, marking a significant moment for the beloved couple. Gomez shared snapshots on Instagram, showcasing herself in an elegant white wedding gown and Blanco looking dapper in a tuxedo, captioned simply with “9.27.26” and a pair of heart emojis.
Reports from Vogue indicate the intimate affair was held in Santa Barbara, with approximately 170 guests in attendance. The celebrity guest list included close friends like singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, actor Paul Rudd, and Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short. Blanco affectionately commented on Gomez’s post, referring to her as “My wife in real life.”
Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, confirmed their engagement in December 2024, following a year of dating and several successful musical collaborations. Their recent album, I Said I Love You First, released in March, reportedly delves into their personal love story. The couple first teamed up on hits like “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em with Kindness” in 2015, and later collaborated on the 2019 track “I Can’t Get Enough.”
Gomez rose to fame on the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place before launching a successful music career. She has achieved multiple top 10 singles in the UK and recently appeared in the film Emilia Perez. Blanco, known for his work as a producer for artists such as Katy Perry and Britney Spears, released his solo album Friends Keep Secrets in 2018.
