The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced key dates for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination in 2025. A re-examination has been scheduled for October 14, 2025. This re-exam is specifically for candidates whose examinations on September 26, 2025, were impacted by the unfortunate Mumbai Fire incident. For all other centers, the examination has already concluded.
The SSC CGL exam saw a massive participation, with approximately 28 lakh candidates applying and around 13.5 lakh appearing for the exam. It was conducted across 255 centers in 126 cities over 45 shifts, spanning 15 days.
Mark your calendars: the answer key for the SSC CGL exam will be released on October 15, 2025. Along with the answer key, the window for candidates to submit objections will also open. Applicants can review the tentative answer keys and submit any online representations they may have within the specified timeframe. Please note that a fee of ₹100 per question is applicable for submitting objections, and this fee is non-refundable.
The commission will carefully scrutinize all representations submitted regarding the tentative answer keys before finalizing them. The SSC’s decision on these matters will be considered final. These final answer keys will then be used to process the results for the computer-based examination.
