Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for these positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Nationality: Indian national
- Age Limit:
- Constable: 21-30 years as of July 1, 2025.
- Head Constable: 18-27 years as of July 1, 2025.
(Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.)
Qualifications for Constable:
- Education: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Driving Skills: Must be confident in driving heavy vehicles and possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicles driving license (as of the application closing date).
- Vehicle Maintenance: Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is required.
Qualifications for Head Constable:
- Education: Class 12 pass with Science & Mathematics from a recognized Board, OR National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.
- Computer Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in computer operations (qualifying in nature). This includes tests on English word processing speed (1000 key depressions in 15 minutes) and basic computer functions like PC operations, printing, MS Office usage, file saving/modification, and text formatting.
Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹100 for both posts. However, female candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempt from this fee. Payments can be made via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or debit/credit cards.
