The highly anticipated Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games just ripped its way into the spotlight during PlayStation’s latest State of Play livestream. This marks the first significant update on the game since its initial reveal in 2021, and it brought some exciting news, including the reveal that Spartacus actor Liam McIntyre will lend his voice to Wolverine himself.
The new trailer was a blood-soaked spectacle, throwing Logan into intense battles against a roster of familiar foes. Fans caught glimpses of Omega Red, a towering sentinel, and even the enigmatic Mystique, whose allegiances remain deliciously ambiguous. Many of Wolverine’s adversaries appeared to be cyborgs, hinting at the potential inclusion of the formidable Reavers.
It’s been a long wait for official news on Marvel’s Wolverine. The game was first announced during the PlayStation Showcase in September 2021. Unfortunately, a major data breach at Insomniac Games in December 2023 led to the leak of some pre-alpha footage. This new trailer, however, provides a polished and official glimpse into what players can expect. We’ll be keeping a close eye out for more details as they emerge!
