A powerful typhoon has caused significant disruption in Hong Kong, with dramatic footage emerging on social media showing the moment water violently burst through the glass doors of a hotel. Typhoon Ragasa’s intense winds and rain led to the dangerous surge, sweeping one person off their feet as water flooded the building’s interior.
Fortunately, the Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel has confirmed that no guests or staff were injured during the incident. While the super typhoon did not make direct landfall in Hong Kong, its proximity brought severe weather conditions, including violent winds and heavy rainfall, which resulted in 62 injuries across the region.
