Skoda Auto India has officially made its highly-regarded Kylaq model available for purchase through the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) network nationwide. This strategic move means that armed forces personnel can now acquire the Kylaq at exclusive, subsidized prices.
The Canteen Stores Department, operating under the Ministry of Defence, boasts one of India’s largest retail infrastructures. It provides a diverse array of products, including vehicles, to defense personnel at concessional rates via both Unit Run Canteens and its dedicated online portal.
Built on the robust MQB-A0-IN platform, the Skoda Kylaq has achieved an impressive five-star safety rating for both adult and child occupant protection in the latest Bharat NCAP crash tests. Under the hood, the Kylaq features a capable 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol TSI engine, delivering 114 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or a smooth six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Skoda Kylaq: Special CSD Pricing for Defense Personnel
For eligible armed forces personnel, the Skoda Kylaq comes with attractive CSD pricing across its variants. The manual ‘Signature’ model starts at Rs 8,09,994, while its automatic counterpart is priced at Rs 9,00,044. The ‘Signature+’ variant is available at Rs 9,30,428 for the manual and Rs 10,31,209 for the automatic. The range-topping ‘Prestige’ variant is set at Rs 10,76,116 for the manual and Rs 11,63,417 for the automatic. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
