Xiaomi has officially revealed the highly anticipated release schedule for its Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update! Starting mid-October, the latest software will first arrive on the Xiaomi 15 series and Redmi K80 Pro smartphones. By the end of next month, this new software will also extend to Xiaomi’s smartwatches, tablets, smart TVs, and even a foldable phone. While many devices will get the update soon, some older smartphone models, smart TVs, and smartwatch variants are scheduled to receive their update by January 2026.

HyperOS 3 Update Release Timeline

The Chinese smartphone giant recently shared a comprehensive release schedule, detailing which devices will receive the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update and when. The rollout for this cutting-edge software is set to commence on October 15. Leading the charge are flagship models such as the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15S Pro, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 15, Redmi K80 Pro, and Redmi K80 Extreme Edition, which will be the very first smartphones to benefit from the update.

It’s worth noting that the Xiaomi 17 series, featuring the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, is also slated for a China launch this month, on September 25. This flagship smartphone lineup will come pre-loaded with the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 right out of the box.

Xiaomi’s foldable phone, the Mix Flip 2, is set to receive its update on October 31, alongside the Redmi K80 and the popular mid-range Civi 5 Pro. Beyond smartphones, Xiaomi’s Tablet 7 series, Redmi K Pad, Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025 series, and Watch S4 series are also scheduled for the October 31 update.

However, some of the company’s 2023 flagship phones, including the Xiaomi 14 series and foldables like the Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip, will receive the HyperOS 3 update slightly later, on November 15. Additionally, the Redmi TV X 2025 Series, Redmi Display G Pro 27U, and Xiaomi Band 10 will get the new software variant on November 30.

Even older flagships, such as the Xiaomi 13 series and the broader Xiaomi 14 lineup, are eligible for this update. The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to be updated in December 2025, followed by the Xiaomi 12 series in January 2026.
