Anticipation Grows: When Will the SSC MTS 2025 Admit Cards Be Released?

September 22, 2025
in Education
Reading Time: 3 min

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has not yet released the admit card for the 2025 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar Examination, leaving thousands of registered candidates in suspense about when their tests will actually take place. While the computer-based examination (CBT) was initially slated to occur between September 20 and October 24, 2025, no official updates regarding the admit cards have been provided.

This prolonged silence from the authorities has sparked considerable worry among hopefuls who have dedicated months to preparing for these fiercely competitive roles. With the tentative vacancies for MTS and Havaldar positions already public, candidates are eagerly awaiting their admit cards to finalize their study plans and logistical arrangements. The SSC is expected to issue these crucial hall tickets shortly, and all applicants are strongly advised to regularly check the official SSC portal and their regional websites to ensure they don’t miss any vital announcements.

SSC MTS Exam: Understanding the Announced Vacancies

According to SSC’s official notification, a total of 8,021 positions are available through this recruitment drive, distributed as follows:

  • 6,078 vacancies for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) for candidates aged 18–25 years.
  • 732 vacancies for MTS (Non-Technical) for candidates aged 18–27 years.
  • 1,211 vacancies for Havaldar roles within CBIC and CBN.

The ongoing delay in providing hall ticket details continues to create significant uncertainty for candidates vying for these highly sought-after government jobs.

How to Download Your SSC MTS Admit Card 2025 (Once Released)

Once the Staff Selection Commission officially releases the admit cards, candidates can follow these straightforward steps to download their hall tickets from the official website:

  1. Visit the official SSC website: ssc.nic.in.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Admit Card’ tab located in the top menu on the homepage.
  3. From the displayed list, select the link corresponding to your specific Regional SSC Website.
  4. On your regional website, locate and click on the link for “SSC MTS & Havaldar Admit Card 2025.”
  5. You will be prompted to enter your Registration Number/Roll Number along with your Date of Birth/Password.
  6. Carefully review all entered details for accuracy, then click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  7. Your admit card will then appear on your screen.
  8. Download the admit card and ensure you take a clear printout for presentation on the examination day.

It is crucial for all candidates to remain vigilant and regularly check the official SSC website for the latest updates concerning the SSC MTS recruitment process.
