The official channels for the incredibly popular “Rent-a-Girlfriend” anime series have just dropped thrilling news for fans worldwide! The second exciting part of the much-discussed Hawaii Arc, now officially titled Season 5, is confirmed to begin airing sometime in 2026. To celebrate this exciting announcement and build anticipation, character designer Kanna Hirayama generously shared a stunning new illustration, offering a glimpse into what’s to come.
Behind the scenes, a familiar and talented team is diligently working to bring this new season to life. Kazuomi Koga, known for his directing work on series like “Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible,” returned to helm “Rent-a-Girlfriend” Season 4 at the acclaimed TMS Entertainment studio. Mitsutaka Hirota, recognized for his series composition on shows such as “Days with My Stepsister,” continues his vital role, while Kanna Hirayama, celebrated for her exquisite character designs in “Oshi no Ko,” lends her artistic vision.
