Historically, Xiaomi’s T-series smartphones like the Xiaomi 15T (September 2025) and Xiaomi 14T (September 2024) have launched in the fall. However, new rumors indicate a significant shift in this pattern, with the upcoming Xiaomi 17T series expected to debut much earlier. This leak provides exciting details on model numbers, codenames, and the powerful chipsets driving the standard Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro. Both models are poised to deliver substantial upgrades in performance and battery life.
Anticipated Launch Schedule for the Xiaomi 17T Series
According to a reliable source on Weibo, the Xiaomi 17T series is moving ahead of its traditional launch schedule, potentially arriving up to four months earlier than its predecessors. This means we could see the new smartphones launch as early as May. If accurate, this leak signals a major change in Xiaomi’s typical product release strategy, which previously saw the Xiaomi 15T and 14T series launch in September of 2025 and 2024, respectively.
