Vivo’s latest V70 series has officially landed in India, introducing two new smartphones: the Vivo V70 Elite and the standard Vivo V70. These exciting new devices are geared up for their Indian debut soon, available through major e-commerce platforms and Vivo’s own online store. The Elite model will dazzle in three distinct color options, while the standard V70 will come in two stylish shades. Both phones in the Vivo V70 lineup boast a robust 6,500mAh battery and are powered by efficient Snapdragon chipsets. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple rear camera setup, highlighted by a powerful 50-megapixel main sensor.

Vivo V70 Elite, Vivo V70: Pricing and Availability in India

For those eyeing the Vivo V70 Elite, pricing in India kicks off at Rs. 51,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant. Stepping up, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration is priced at Rs. 56,999. The premium option, offering 12GB of RAM and a spacious 512GB of storage, will set you back Rs. 61,999. The standard Vivo V70 is more accessible, with its 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model at Rs. 45,999, and the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version at Rs. 49,999. Vivo is also sweetening the deal with up to 10 percent cashback offers for customers using SBI, HDFC Bank, and Yes Bank cards.

The anticipated sale date for these new Vivo smartphones in India is scheduled for “February X,” with availability confirmed on Flipkart and the official Vivo online store. The Vivo V70 Elite will be offered in sophisticated Authentic Black, vibrant Passion Red, and elegant Sand Beige. Meanwhile, the Vivo V70 will capture attention in lively Lemon Yellow and the classic Passion Red.

Vivo V70 Elite, Vivo V70: Specifications and Key Features

Both the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 are dual-SIM smartphones running on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. Vivo commits to an impressive six years of security updates for both devices. They both feature stunning 6.59-inch VM9 AMOLED displays, offering a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, an incredible peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, a sharp 459 ppi pixel density, and a rich P3 wide color gamut. Furthermore, these handsets are built to last, boasting IP68 and IP69 ratings for superior dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, the Vivo V70 Elite is powered by Qualcomm’s advanced octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, capable of reaching a blistering 3GHz clock speed. It comes equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of lightning-fast UFS 4.1 onboard storage. The standard Vivo V70, on the other hand, sports a robust octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, clocked at 2.8GHz, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.

When it comes to photography, both the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 showcase Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera systems. This includes a high-resolution 50-megapixel (f/1.88) primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel (f/2.65) Super Telephoto camera also featuring OIS, and an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide camera. For stunning selfies and crystal-clear video calls, both phones are outfitted with a 50-megapixel (f/2.0) front-facing camera. Users can also record videos in impressive 4K resolution.

Keeping these powerful devices running are substantial 6,500mAh batteries, supported by blazing-fast 90W wired fast charging. In terms of design, both handsets share identical dimensions, measuring 157.52×74.33×7.59mm and weighing approximately 194g each.

The Vivo V70 Elite is packed with sensors, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, color temperature sensor, an infrared (IR) blaster, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for enhanced security. The standard Vivo V70, while missing the IR blaster, includes a gyroscope. Connectivity options across the Vivo V70 series are comprehensive, supporting 5G, 4G LTE, a USB Type-C port, NFC, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC.
