The highly anticipated anime adaptation of ‘Goddess: “What Do You Want to Turn Into When You’re Reincarnated in Another World?” Me: “Into a Hero’s Rib”‘ is expanding its already impressive roster with new talent! Fans can look forward to an additional voice actor, a striking new visual, and exciting details about the opening theme song.
A vibrant new visual, showcasing the series’ Goddess and ‘Me’ characters, has been unveiled, crafted by the talented comedian Kukkii! (also known as Kunihiro Kawashima of the manzai comedy duo Yasei Bakudan). Kukkii! isn’t stopping there, as he will also be directing the anime’s opening sequence.
Adding to the stellar voice cast, comedian Takahiro Ogata, a member of the comedy trio Panther, will lend his voice to a new hero character named Joke. Further details about Joke’s role in the story are eagerly awaited.
The dynamic five-member rock band shukatsuclub is set to perform the anime’s brand-new opening theme song, titled ‘Tensei Ganbo,’ which translates to ‘Desire for Reincarnation.’ This promises to set an energetic tone for the series.

Directing ‘Goddess: “What Do You Want to Turn Into When You’re Reincarnated in Another World?” Me: “Into a Hero’s Rib”‘ is Yasufumi Soejima (known for *Ensemble Stars*), with animation helmed by studios Qzil.la and S.o.K. Zipper Sojo is responsible for the series composition, while Miki Matsumoto (*ROLL OVER AND DIE*) handles character designs. Kopo is credited for image illustrations, and Kagiji Kumanomata (*Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle*) is responsible for the original animation character designs. The music for the series is a collaborative effort by Yuta Uraki, Kayo Konishi, Yukio Kondo, Nomi (VSQ sports), and Shunya Watanabe.
The anime is based on the popular light novel series, penned by Antai, which originally debuted on the *Shosetsu ni Naro* website in 2017. Since 2021, Takarajimasha has been publishing the series with captivating illustrations by Mebaru. The story introduces a unique twist on the reincarnation genre: a protagonist who, tired of waiting for conventional high-status reincarnations like a ‘hero’ or ‘demon lord,’ chooses a remarkably unconventional path instead.
