Powering the device will be a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Storage options are expected to include generous 256GB and 512GB variants.
Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a versatile camera setup. The rear system is rumored to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 0.8µm pixel size, ensuring sharp and steady shots. This will likely be complemented by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and another unspecified 8-megapixel sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 13-megapixel front camera is anticipated.
Software-wise, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is expected to run on Android 16, enriched with various AI capabilities for an enhanced user experience. A robust 6,500mAh battery is projected to power the device, supporting fast 45W wired charging and convenient 30W wireless charging. Additionally, it might offer 10W wired reverse charging and 5W wireless reverse charging, allowing users to power up other devices on the go.
This new model is poised to succeed last year’s Infinix GT 30 Pro, which itself featured a 144Hz AMOLED display and the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset. The GT 30 Pro was notable for its distinctive Cyber Mecha Design 2.0 and dedicated GT shoulder triggers, alongside a 5,500mAh battery with 45W wired charging.
The Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G made its debut last June, priced at Rs. 24,999 for its base model, which included 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
