Unsealed Epstein Files Reveal Deeper Connections to Supermodel Naomi Campbell

Supermodel Naomi Campbell had previously stated she was merely acquainted with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. However, recently revealed emails are now casting a new light on the true depth of their interactions.

Among the vast trove of documents released by the Justice Department concerning convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, one of the most prominent figures repeatedly mentioned is none other than fashion icon Naomi Campbell.

Email correspondence indicates that Ms. Campbell, now 55, requested flights on Epstein’s private plane and planned to meet him at his New York residence. He was also reportedly invited to numerous exclusive global events in her name. These arrangements were primarily handled by Epstein’s long-standing assistant, Lesley Groff.

Furthermore, federal investigators interviewed victims who recounted being introduced to the renowned British supermodel by Epstein at social gatherings. They also claimed to have seen Campbell at his mansion and on his private island.

The newly unveiled documents reveal that Campbell maintained a presence in Epstein’s circle well after his 2008 conviction in Florida for soliciting prostitution from a minor, offering fresh insights into the true scope of their association.

These interactions further illustrate how Epstein, who died by suicide in a Manhattan prison cell in 2019, skillfully exploited and manipulated a vast, influential social network to draw girls and young women into his predatory lifestyle.

Campbell’s connection to Epstein was first brought to public attention through legal proceedings involving him, his long-term associate Ghislaine Maxwell (who is currently serving a federal sentence for sex-trafficking), and other related parties.

Martin Singer, legal counsel for Ms. Campbell, issued a comprehensive statement via email, asserting that his client was completely unaware of Epstein’s ‘heinous criminal conduct’ until his arrest in 2019, and confirmed no contact since then.

In his statement, Singer emphasized, ‘Before Epstein’s 2019 arrest in New York, my client had no knowledge of his appalling criminal behavior. Had my client ever encountered a young woman she believed was being exploited by Epstein, she would have intervened immediately to offer assistance.’ He further noted that Campbell resided in Moscow between 2008 and 2013, during which time she ‘was unaware that Epstein was a registered sex offender.’

It’s important to note that Ms. Campbell herself has not been accused of any wrongdoing. The FBI interviews with victims did not yield any corroborating evidence to support their claims involving her.

A New York Times review revealed Campbell’s name in almost 300 Justice Department documents, even accounting for duplicates. This positions her as a notable female celebrity mentioned within records that also feature powerful men like former President Bill Clinton, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, and President Trump.

One particular document, starkly titled ‘List of People Who Need JE’s Address!’, included Ms. Campbell’s name among dozens of others. It provided instructions for sending mail to the Florida jail where Epstein commenced his sentence in the summer of 2008.

According to Singer, Campbell ‘has no knowledge of who created this list or why her name is on it. She never requested Epstein’s jail address in Florida for communication.’

FBI interview transcripts suggest Epstein used his alleged connection to Campbell as a lure for young women, hinting at potential modeling careers. In 2020, a victim who met Epstein at age 15 testified that he promised her work at Victoria’s Secret, claiming to know Campbell (a prominent figure in the brand’s shows) and Leslie Wexner, then CEO of Victoria’s Secret parent company, L Brands (Epstein previously managed Wexner’s finances). This victim also stated she was introduced to Campbell at Epstein’s private office.

Singer’s statement clarified that Campbell never held a contract with Victoria’s Secret. He emphasized that if Epstein exploited her name to ‘impress or gain trust,’ it was done ‘entirely without her knowledge or authorization.’

In separate FBI interviews from 2019, another victim recounted seeing Campbell at Epstein’s New York mansion during a dinner party when the victim was 18 and being introduced to Epstein. A third victim, also interviewed in 2019, stated they had seen Campbell on Epstein’s private island.

Virginia Giuffre, a vocal victim of Epstein who tragically died by suicide last year, had also reported in 2016 through court documents that Epstein introduced her to Campbell.

Campbell’s lawyer further stated that she, alongside ‘a group of people en route to an F1 race,’ briefly visited Epstein’s island for a ‘transfer from a commercial flight.’ He also clarified that Campbell has no recollection of meeting any of Epstein’s victims and was ‘never at his house for any social event or gathering,’ but confirmed she did attend ‘3 or 4 business meetings’ at his home office.

Even after his 2009 release from prison as a registered sex offender, Epstein maintained contact with Campbell, seemingly offering her access to his influential network.

A 2010 email exchange shows Epstein instructing his assistant, Ms. Groff, to invite Linda Wachner, then former CEO of Warnaco Group, to his home to meet with Campbell and an associate. The following day, his assistant confirmed, ‘Naomi is confirmed.’

Singer’s email stated that Campbell did meet with Wachner, as Campbell was ‘trying to develop a lingerie and swimwear line,’ and Epstein ‘convinced her he could help.’ Lawyers for both women confirmed that Wachner participated virtually, and no resulting business materialized from the meeting.

Also in 2010, Epstein received an invitation to Campbell’s surprise 40th birthday celebration in Cannes, France, an event described in the email as a ‘private gathering for her closest friends and family.’ According to Campbell’s lawyer, she was not responsible for the guest list, and Epstein ultimately did not attend.

Epstein was also invited to a Paris event commemorating Campbell’s 25-year career with Dolce & Gabbana. An unsigned reply to the invitation noted, ‘Jeffrey will come plus two.’ Campbell’s lawyer confirmed that Epstein attended with Maxwell, but ‘they remained for approximately 20 minutes.’

The nature of their relationship appeared to extend beyond mere attendance at the same exclusive social events. Campbell’s online communications suggest a comfort in sharing intricate details of her schedule with both Ms. Groff and Epstein. For instance, a 2010 email from Ms. Groff to Epstein stated that ‘Naomi Campbell was having a facial and said she will call back.’

‘I want to see Jeffrey,’ Campbell wrote in a 2015 email to Ms. Groff, discussing her travel arrangements, and signed off with, ‘exhausted babes.’

A 2016 email exchange reveals an Epstein associate inquiring if Campbell could ‘use the plane.’ Subsequently, in the same thread, another associate was instructed to secure a charter flight for Campbell ‘to go from NY to Miami tonight and fly back on sat or Sunday!!’

Campbell’s lawyer concluded his statement by asserting that his client ‘was on Epstein’s plane on a few occasions but she never observed any inappropriate conduct of any kind.’
