The original ‘Iron Wok Jan!’ manga by Shinji Saijyo captivated readers in Weekly Shonen Champion magazine from 1995 to 2000, accumulating 27 collected volumes. Its popularity led to successful sequels, ‘Iron Wok Jan! R: The Summit Operations’ in 2007 and ‘Iron Wok Jan! 2nd’ in 2017. The complete series has achieved remarkable success with over ten million copies in circulation. The compelling story centers on Jan Akiyama, an arrogant high school chef who fiercely views cooking as a relentless battle, a stark contrast to his rival who approaches the culinary art with heart and passion.
